Defending champion Korea Expressway Corporation gave setter Lee Go-eun and the 2023-2024 season rookie draft 2nd round nomination right to Pepper Savings Bank on the 2nd, and instead made a trade with middle blocker Choi Ga-eun to receive the 2023-2024 season rookie draft 1st round nomination right.

Lee Go-eun, who was handed over to Pepper by the Korea Expressway Corporation, was a card that was not expected in the first place.

When wing spiker Park Jung-ah, who won the championship, signed an FA contract with Pepper, the Korea Expressway Corporation had to choose a compensation player. In this situation, Pepper did not tie Lee Go-eun, the main setter, as a protection player. The Korea Expressway Corporation nominated Lee Go-eun as a compensation player without hesitation.

Pepper, who became desperate, had to take Lee Go-eun back, and in the process, he had to risk bleeding. Instead of taking Lee Go-eun back, Pepper gave the right to pick the first round of the 2023-2024 season rookie draft along with the main middle blocker Choi Ga-eun to the road construction.
