LG Twins Lim Chan-gyu (31) showed off his best pitching this season.

Lim Chan-gyu started the match against Kiwoom Heroes of the ‘2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League’ held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 11th and recorded a victory with 3 hits, 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts in 6 innings. 

Lim Chan-gyu, who recorded a three-way offense in the first inning, walked Hyung-jong Lee in the second inning, but struck out both Chan-hyeok Park and Byung-wook Lim without being shaken. In the 3rd inning 2 out, Lee Won-seok was sent out on a walk after being hit by Lee Jung-hoo, but Kim Hye-seong was caught with a floating ball in center field and escaped the crisis. 

Lim Chan-gyu, who was hit by lead batter Edison Russell in the 4th inning, easily escaped the crisis by inducing Lee Hyung-jong to double-strike. He was hit by Kim Hwi-jip in the 5th inning as well, but ended the inning by treating Lee Ji-young and Lee Jung-hoo with a hit.
